Keema with potatoes

The addition of potatoes makes for a hearty curry, our Keema and potato Qurry is easy, tasty and one you will make time and time again.
Stuff you will need
- 2tbsp oil
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated or 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 400g mince lamb
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 3 medium potatoes, cut into small chunks
Method
- Add oil to pan on medium heat, add onions and fry for 10 mins until golden.
- Add garlic and ginger, fry for 1 min.
- Add tomatoes, tomato puree and QURRY SPICES, fry for 1 min then add 100ml of water. Cook for 5 – 8 mins until the water has dried up and tomatoes have broken down.
- Add mince lamb and cook for 5 mins.
- Add 200ml water, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 15 mins.
- Add potatoes, stir, cover and cook for 30 mins or until the potatoes are cooked through. Serve.
